Professional Career :

Banti padotra is young music composer of jammu & kashmir. His most notable instrument is the synthesizer. He learned harmonium, tabla, pad and flute. He has composed more than 35 music albums. He learned music from renowned music director of pathankot ustad Bulle shah ji.

Banti started playing harmonium in just 3rd standard, when his elder brother Somdutt padotra brought a harmonium in their house. Banti and his 2nd elder brother sunil padotra were togather learning harmonium in their house. But due to other responsibilities his brothers could not learn harmonium.

After 12th standard banti met well known singer of kathua Surinder singh through to his brother- in-law Sh. Bodh raj deol. Then, banti worked with surinder singh 4 Years. In between he met a music teacher Dr. Malu sumbria who suggested to banti for B. Music degree. Banti then got admission in music and fine arts college and qualify the B. Music degree.

Banti shared the stage with many eminent Singers like saleem, Feroz khan and kaler kanth. He has also an own recording studio. Currently, he is working in information department as a cultural assistant.

Personal Life :

Banti padotra was born on 15 July 1983 in basholi village, district kathua, Jammu & Kashmir. His father charan dass padotra is a govt. employee in ITI department and mother pushpa devi is a homemaker.

After schooling from basholi, he did his B. Music degree from music & fine arts college jammu. He is also trained in indian classical music.
